Jay and I recently bought tickets for a vacation back to the east coast for September. We will be visiting the 9/11 memorial on the five year anniversary, 9-11-06. Last time I was in New York, I went to the Statue of Liberty and took a picture of the two towers. This was in 1998, seven years later and things have surely changed in the world since then.

As I get closer to completing my plans to open my first official web portfolio, I feel a sort of thrill inside of me. Since I was a young child, I spent my days working on art project after art project that I always presented happily to my mother day after day. As I about the next phase of my life (I just turned 26, this year) I feel its time to create a forum to express myself through my art to not only my closest friends & family, but to others who also share in my joys, my passions, my sorrow, my hopes. As we learn to stretch our wings, we realize they were made for flying, and sooner or later, we all will begin to soar.
